Can accused be arrested if he is released on bail?

Ans: No, unless it is cancelled by court,and non-bailable warrant is issued.


Can the court hand over the custody of an accused of a bailable offence to the police when accused surrenders before the Court?


Ans: No, as the accused has unfettered right to be released on bail, the court has to release the accused on bail.the accused is first taken in Judicial custody and then released on bail if the accused if ready to furnish surety, he cannot be sent to Police custody.


Can police ask for remand in bailable offence?

Ans : No as the bail is a right in bailable offence the court cannot remand the accused to police custody.
